how to make prawns curry?
Ingredients
Prawns medium size (cleaned and deveined) 500 grams gross 300 grams net
2 Onions find chopped
Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoons
2 tomatoes fine chopped
Green chillies slit and cut 2
Slat, turmeric 1/4, red chilli powder 2 tablespoons, coriander powder 1/4 tbsp, cumin powder 1/2, garam masala 1/2 , coconut milk 1 cup, coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon,oil 2 tbsp.
Heat oil In a kadai and add the chopped onions. Fry on medium to low heat till translucent 8 minutes. And then add the greet chillies. Add the gingar garlic paste. Mix and fry around 2 minutes till raw smell is gone. Add the chopped tomatoes, mix and add the salt. Cook for around 5 minutes. Till tomatoes are soft. Add all the powders other then garam masala powder. Mix and add 1/2 cup of water. Bhuno on medium for around 3 minutes. Till the masalas are cooked. Now add the prawns and mix well. Fry for around 5 minutes on medium heat. Add the coconut milk,let it come to a boil, lower the heat to low and cover and cook for 10 minutes. Now add the garam masala powder,mix and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with roti or rice.
